Presented by Dr. Paul Baker.
This training is a part of the North Georgia RESA Intensive Behavior Health Series (IBHS) series.
This comprehensive training is designed for administrators, teachers, paraprofessional, counselors, school psychologists, behavior specialists and other personnel at all levels who work directly with students.
Conflict in the Classroom provides targeted training for educators to be successful in providing immediate support to students who are disruptive, aggressive and non-compliant. Research has shown that 80% of classroom problems are caused by 10% of students who challenge and undermine teacher authority. This unique training program offers specific skills to manage and de-escalate conflict within the school setting. Participants will learn to manage their own counter-aggression under tough circumstances. This training provides skills needed implement support along PBIS Tier’s I, II and III.
Training cost is $40.00 for North Georgia RESA members $80.00 for all others. The fee will cover the cost of materials. Light refreshments will be served. Lunch each day will be on-your-own. You may register by paying online or pay by purchase order.
