This course will provide an introduction to the skills, materials, and methods of teaching the
Science of Reading. Field experience will allow participants to observe and interview a veteran
reading teacher. Participants will also build lessons to demonstrate competency in reading
instruction.

This course was created based on The Georgia Early Literacy Act (House Bill 538).
