Digging Deeper into the New ELA Standards: Growing Learners through Cultivating Vocabulary and Language ConventionsLed by Dr. Cathy Paige, ELA Specialist, NGRESA Dig into the Georgia DOE Language and Practices Domain in this engaging professional learning session. Participants will explore the core elements of this domain and its role in fostering effective communication, critical thinking, and equitable instructional practices in the classroom. The session will highlight research-based strategies from the Practices Domain for implementing language-rich activities and practices designed to promote student engagement, comprehension, and expression across all content areas. We will collaborate and discuss practical tools, lesson ideas, and a deeper understanding of how to create inclusive, linguistically responsive learning environments.
